“Heck Yeah,” Doug Pederson Wants Jason Peters Back

Howie Roseman and Doug Pederson spoke today at the NFL Combine.
Howie didn’t say much of anything. His availability is going to be parsed in more of a “let’s try to read between the lines and examine his body language” type of way.
Doug was a little more upfront, and I did a double take when he said this:
Reporter: Do you want Jason Peters back?
Doug: Oh yeah. Yeah. I think I said the same thing about Darren Sproles. Heck yeah.
Barf.
You’ve got a first round pick in Andre Dillard who needs to be given the keys to the car at left tackle. Jason Peters needs to ride into the sunset, to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It’s time.
