Big East Begins Conference Tournament, Then Cancels It

The Big East tournament has been cancelled. The decision was made at halftime of the St. John's-Creighton game.

Saint John’s was up 38-35. They played a half of basketball and then this thing got cancelled. How does that even happen? Who is calling the shots?
