Coronavirus: Los Angeles Teams Being Warned of Canceling Games or Playing in Empty Stadiums
Somewhere in the suburbs, Kyle Scott is currently holed up in his nuclear bunker, dressed as the “Bubble Boy” from Seinfeld and hoarding wet wipes.
He’s prepared for the Coronavirus. Are you?
I’m not taking the threat seriously, but Los Angeles is:
Sports teams in L.A. County, including @LAFC and the @LAGalaxy, have been warned they may be asked to cancel games or play them in empty stadiums after the county declared a health emergency Wednesday to deal with the coronavirus (1/2)

(2/2) But that is a worst-case scenario: County health director Barbara Ferrer: "This could be that games are played but there are no spectators. This could be that there are limits to how people are going to gather… But I want to reassure everyone we are not there today.”

Hmm..
You know what?
The Sixers are terrible on the road. What if they played all their road games in empty arenas? That might give them a better chance at winning.
I see a future where the Coronavirus actually helps the Sixers move up from the sixth seed in the east to the fourth seed. We’ll have to see how this plays out.
