It’s John Oliver on the latest episode of Last Week Tonight doing a segment on the Phillie Phanatic, who, as you know, is currently the subject of a legal battle between the Phils and the mascot’s creators.
Oliver has Bob Costas come in a voice a sales pitch to the Phanatic, who may become a free agent if this dumbass dispute is not resolved:
“Sometimes a hero needs a new challenge, a new home, a home that doesn’t want to change you into whatever the fuck this is.”
That’s pretty good, love Bob Costas dropping the F bomb right there.
