Per Ian Rapoport:

Remember last year when Sean Payton (a douchebag) said that letting Jenkins go was “one of the bigger mistakes” that the franchise made? Well now they reunite with the veteran safety, who played there from 2009 to 2013 and won a Super Bowl.

It’s also a little ironic that Jenkins goes back to NOLA two years after flipping off Payton during the 48-7 loss when the head ball coach decided to throw on fourth down while holding a 31-point lead. Later that season, before the playoff rematch, he then gave Jamie Apody a dickhead answer when she asked about running up the score.

Jenkins, to his credit, said he talked to Payton after that loss and said it was “all good.” He’s always been a classy guy in that regard. Love Malcolm Jenkins, can’t stand Sean Payton. Therefore, I hope he goes to the Pro Bowl and has a monster individual year while the Saints finish 0-16.
