Sixers “Committed to Assisting” Arena Workers During NBA Shutdown

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

This is good to hear.

Check out this statement from the Sixers RE: CORONA VIRUS and the NBA’s suspension:

“As we navigate the coming weeks, we recognize that our staff members are family and the heartbeat of the organization. As such, we are committed to assisting our arena associates through this period.”

Not sure what that means specifically, but gotta take care of those folks, so good on the Sixers for following Mark Cuban’s lead.

  5. I love the gotta “support those folks mentality.” Umm no we don’t need to support the people with no education who decided to have a volatile job. Is hardworking folk will be siting at home still busting our ass just to be paid our normal salaries while the McDonald’s workers and stadium cleaners get paid for doing nothing. This pc world sucks.
