The MLS Season is Now Suspended

Couple of reports here:
Breaking: Multiple sources at MLS teams have been told the league is is suspending games immediately in order to fully assess the situation.

MLS is suspending its season immediately until further notice due to coronavirus, a source with knowledge of the situation tells Sports Illustrated.

The Philadelphia Union home opener was scheduled for Saturday night. We’re only three weeks in, so it’s easier for MLS to postpone and move the season back, whereas the NBA has playoffs right around the corner.
All of this suggests to me that hockey and baseball will similarly be suspended. It’s inevitable, isn’t it? We’ll probably get announcements at some point later today. I think MLB holds out the longest and then Rob Manfred eventually gives in.
