Carson Wentz and Zach Ertz Share Statements on Minneapolis and George Floyd

In case you’re living under a rock and unaware, parts of Minneapolis are a total chaotic mess right now after a police officer basically murdered a black man on camera the other day.

The George Floyd story is all over cable news and social media, and as such, a lot of pro athletes are weighing in, with Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz writing this on Twitter:

Wentz moved to North Dakota when he was three years old. He played his high school football in Bismarck and college ball in Fargo, which are both about 90% white,for context.

A little bit later, Zach and Julie Ertz shared this statement:

I barely slept last night, then opened up Twitter to see that a CNN reporter was arrested and demonstrators got inside a police precinct and set it on fire.
