Maybe your wife watches that God-awful show on E! called Very Cavallari, featuring former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. It’s an absolutely excruciating experience.
Kristin Cavallari, the star of the show, and Cutler’s soon-to-be ex-wife, filed for divorce in part because he was lazy and unmotivated, according to Page Six:
The “Hills” star married Cutler in 2013 when he was a quarterback with the Chicago Bears, and we’re told she thought he was lined up for a demanding career as a sports broadcaster after he hung up his cleats.
But sources say that after his broadcasting career faltered, the ever-ambitious Cavallari, who announced in late April that the pair were splitting, found him “unmotivated” and even “lazy” — while he found that he had a penchant for hanging out with their three kids and menagerie of animals on their Tennessee farm.
“She was growing increasingly impatient with him. He was supposed to take this big job at Fox Sports and have a life after football that would get him up off the couch and do something,” said an insider.
Uhhhhh, yeah. So let’s try to wrap our head around this.
Guy is a former NFL quarterback who made millions of dollars during his career. He has always been lazy and unmotivated. Now he wants to relax at home, spend some time with the kids and the pets, and just chill out. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think most women and most men in a meaningful relationship would love for their spouse to spend more time doing just that. The alternative here is for Cutler to fly all over creation, doing NFL broadcasts, while the kids are watched by a nanny.
Sounds like Cutler is just trying to be Jay Cutler. We can’t let him be smeared like this.
