LeSean McCoy wants to play one more NFL season, and he’s currently without a team after winning a Super Bowl with Kansas City a few months back.

He was a healthy scratch for the big game, but put up more than 400 yards for the Chiefs after being released by Buffalo prior to the start of the regular season.

Appearing on Good Morning Football today, Shady said this about a possible Philadelphia return:

“I could see that. On another note, since I left, you haven’t seen the (number) 25 active in green, so you never know. I’m going to keep my options open, though. I could see myself there in Philly. Like I said, that’s home, so you never know.”

He also said this about his football future:

Fans would probably appreciate McCoy’s return, especially considering the unceremonious nature of his Chip Kelly-engineered departure.

But he turns 32 in July and logged 2,500 carries over the course of his 11-year NFL career. He’s a smaller and shiftier runner who does the same things Miles Sanders does, and if the Eagles are indeed looking to add a veteran running back, somebody like the rumored Carlos Hyde would be a much better fit as a bigger runner who can give you something between the tackles.

For those reasons, “I’m out,” as they say on Shark Tank.
