Melvin Gordon is Ready for Games Without Fans Because the Chargers “Didn’t Have Fans Anyway”

Remember when Eagles fans flocked to California EN MASSE to watch the Birds beat the Chargers inside of a soccer stadium?
Great game. LeGarrette Blount ran for 136 yards in a 26-24 win that improved the future Super Bowl champions to 3-1.
The home team did not have many fans inside the stadium back then, which has prepared Melvin Gordon for a possibly similar situation this season, as we slowly exit the COVID-19 pandemic:
I asked former Chargers and current @Broncos RB @Melvingordon25 about the possibility of playing in “fanless stadiums” and his response was PRICELESS! #NFL pic.twitter.com/ErGo5tr2Oc

“Bro, we didn’t have fans anyway.”
Sad, but true, as James Hetfield once said.
Remember this gif of Jordan Hicks pumping up Eagles fans inside another team’s stadium? –
