The Phillies were hosting the Mets when news of Osama Bin Laden’s death was leaked to the media. It was a 1-1 game in the top of the ninth inning, when fans began to realize what was going on, resulting in this scene at Citizens Bank Park:

President Obama came on television around 11:30 to confirm the news.
