From Shams:

Udoka is also drawing interest from the Bulls.

It’s his first season in Philadelphia, though he spent the prior seven years in the same role under Gregg Popovich in San Antonio, so it’s no surprise that he’d be near the top of the list of NBA assistants in line for head coaching jobs.

Going back to September, Udoka said this about his decision to leave the Spurs:

Crossing Broad: So what brought you here? And why come here? You left a pretty good job in San Antonio.

Udoka: Yeah, you know at some point, I’d been in San Antonio for seven years and had a few head (coaching) interviews and just wanted a change, a different challenge. Looking forward to getting back and getting reunited with Brett, someone I have a lot familiarity with. And obviously it’s a great team here so I’m looking forward to that.

Udoka is primarily responsible for the Sixers defense, which posted a 107.6 defensive rating prior to the season postponement. That number was 6th-best in the NBA.
