Ironic: Miguel Rojas Reportedly COVID-19 Positive
Remember how the Marlins discussed their COVID-19 situation on Sunday and decided to move forward with the series finale anyway?
Shortstop Miguel Rojas was among the veteran voices who guided that decision, and ironically, he has now tested positive for the ‘Rona:
Marlins star and leader Miguel Rojas has tested positive. He leads the NL with a .700 batting average, .750 OBP, 1.300 slugging percentage, 2.050 OPS and 476 OPS plus. Of course half the team is positive.

Rojas had seven hits and five RBI on the weekend, so obviously the Coronavirus was not affecting his performance.
Here’s the passage that will make you roll your eyes, from Jayson Stark and Ken Rosenthal at The Athletic:
Marlins manager Don Mattingly said his team “never really considered not playing” on Sunday. The club’s most respected veteran, shortstop Miguel Rojas, told the media afterward that all 30 players discussed the situation Sunday morning, but said not playing was “never our mentality.”
