You’ve gotta be kidding me. Think about how much of a mess this Marlins/Phillies thing has been, now add two more teams to the mix, and proceeding with some kind of schedule that actually makes sense is gonna be a nightmare.
The Cardinals and Brewers were supposed to play a three game weekend set, then St. Louis was off to Detroit and Milwaukee had the Chi Sox coming up.
At this point, the last team standing will automatically win the World Series.
Heyman also tweeted this:
For Marlins, Philly hotel isolation has been trying — even tense for some. They test every morning but that’s the only time they may see others in the flesh. To try to alleviate the stress of isolation they hold daily zoom meetings, with Mattingly and sometimes even Jeter.

Well boo hoo! Let’s play the world’s smallest violin for guys who are getting paid a ton of money to sit in a hotel room and watch TV and play video games. They should be happy they haven’t been fined or kicked out of the league for playing a baseball game while knowing they had COVID positives, putting other people at risk in the process.
If Rob Manfred had a pair he would have told Miami to take a fucking hike for their reckless endangerment and selfish behavior, but he’s too busy suspending Joe Kelly for exacting revenge on a cheating Astros team that faced zero punishment.
