Fantastic news here from ESPN’s Jeff Passan:

One visiting clubhouse staffer is COVID positive and now in quarantine, but this is huge for the Phillies, who played three games against the infectious Marlins this past weekend. If this mini-outbreak is contained to the Miami baseball team and the Phils/Yanks/O’s come out of this clean, then we’re in good shape.

As it stands, the Phillies are set to resume their season on Friday night against the Toronto Buffalo Blue Jays, who will be the HOME TEAM at Citizens Bank Park. The Phils do have another series with Miami next week, so we’ll see if the Marlins are allowed to play, or if they remain isolated, quarantined, or kicked out of the league entirely, with the latter option there being preferable, imo.
