It’s funny how the world works.

Back in February, Howard Eskin (The King), accidentally identified Andrew McCutchen as Los Angeles Rams running back Lawrence McCutcheon, who last played in 1981. Honest mistake. Everybody had fun with the gaffe and McCutchen himself embraced his new alter ego of “Uncle Larry.”

One of the byproducts is a bobblehead figurine that’s available for preorder now, featuring McCutchen in a Phillies throwback, wearing aviators and a chain while holding the same paper cup from this photo:

Pretty cool, if we’re being honest.

Here’s the description from the FOCO page:

“You know Andrew McCutchen. Now, get to know Lawrence McCutcheon. The only thing more impressive than that sweet, sweet ‘stache is this Andrew McCutchen Philadelphia Phillies “Uncle Larry” Bobblehead. He’s not just any uncle. He’s the FUN uncle.”

This would not have been possible without THE KING. Even now he continues to blaze new trails and set the standard for Philadelphia sports journalism. He is the hardest working man in the Delaware Valley.
