RADIO WARS – Josh Innes Says 97.5 the Fanatic “Cancelled Plans” to Have Him Work Weekends

Here’s a RADIO WARS follow up.
Josh Innes read our previous article about John Kincade and a possible Philadelphia return, and then casually dropped this tidbit on Twitter:
Josh Innes working weekends at the Fanatic?
He’s been saying on Twitter for about a year now that he’d be open to a Philadelphia return, though I personally have not heard his name connected to 97.5 outside of that. In discussions with sources we use, Josh’s name has not come up recently, but if Beasley was looking to shake things up, this would certainly be a path to traverse. Maybe they did explore it and changed their minds, as Josh alleges.
Innes is currently without a radio gig but is doing his Twitch show for the time being. He was booted from WIP in 2016 and then let go from his Houston station in March of 2019.
