Barstool Pays a Visit to Delco

Dave Portnoy has been spending a lot of time in Philadelphia recently. He actually moved here for business-related reasons, which we haven’t written about because there’s an existing conflict with what we’re doing. We’re not anti-Barstool, it’s just a conflict of interest.

That’s not important though. What’s important is that the Barstool Presidente went to Upper Darby the other day to review the famous local institution of Pica’s:

Pica’s is good. It’s really damn good. Cheese on the bottom, sauce on the top. Their pizza very easily goes into the 8/10 or 9/10 range for me.

Portnoy is all Philadelphia these days, which is nice. Cool to see him in this area going around and seeing the sights and reviewing the pizza and all of that. But let’s not forget he’s still a Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, and Celtics fan. He can visit Delco and do business in Pennsylvania and schmooze his way into the good graces of the Delaware Valley, but you always have to keep in the back of your mind that he’s an entitled Boston sports fan.
