This might be the best story of 2020, and there have been a record amount of doozies this calendar year.

You probably saw the news of Jeffrey Toobin getting in trouble for pulling his weiner out during a Zoom call. Toobin is a well-known reporter for The New Yorker and appears frequently on CNN as a legal analyst, and he explained and apologized for the mishap, via Vice:

The New Yorker has suspended reporter Jeffrey Toobin for masturbating on a Zoom video chat between members of the New Yorker and WNYC radio last week. Toobin says he did not realize his video was on.

“I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera. I apologize to my wife, family, friends and co-workers,” Toobin told Motherboard.

“I believed I was not visible on Zoom. I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me. I thought I had muted the Zoom video,” he added.

So… he’s saying that if the video was not on, he would listened to the call while masturbating anyway? Is that what he’s saying here? You’re not supposed to be stroking it during a work conference regardless of whether the video is on or off.

Anyway, in the most random sports/politics intersection of recent memory, O.J. Simpson went on Twitter to dunk on Toobin, who authored a 1996 book about O.J. called The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Said O.J. –

So there you have it.

Jeffrey Toobin decided to pull his schlong out on a Zoom call, and is now suspended by the New Yorker and taking a leave of absence from CNN. O.J. Simpson, who obviously didn’t like Toobin’s book, then went on Twitter to get the last laugh.

2020, folks.
