The Union won again last night, improving to 13 wins, 3 losses, and 5 ties on the season, which is the best record in Major League Soccer. They’re in the driver’s seat to win the Supporter’s Shield, a trophy awarded to the league’s top regular season team, which would be the first piece of hardware in franchise history.

As an aside to that, last night at Subaru Park a group of fans were recorded using homophobic and racist language, and the team is now taking steps to identify and permanently ban them from the stadium:

The number of fans in the stadium is small, due to COVID restrictions imposed by Pennsylvania. In this video, you can hear someone shout the word “f*****” from the north end of the stadium, in what looks to be section 122:

Folks in attendance say the group was also using the N word and warned for not wearing masks. With the small amount of people in the stadium, you’d think it would be easier to identify these jabronies and tell them to take a hike, forever.
