You can watch the Eagles lose again, this time with Michael Barkann.

The NBC Sports Philadelphia veteran will tonight host a two-hour encore of the Eagles/Steelers game as part of a new series called “Eagles Rewind,” in which games will be replayed in truncated fashion with analysis and commentary.

Here’s the press release explaining the show:

NBC Sports Philadelphia will present special two-hour encore presentations of Philadelphia Eagles games for the remainder of the NFL regular-season schedule, entitled Eagles Rewind, beginning tonight.

The weekly program condenses Eagles game coverage from the league’s national television broadcasts to feature only game action and other key elements of the matchup. Eagles Rewind will be hosted by NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Michael Barkann, who will provide analysis and commentary surrounding the game coverage.

Eagles Rewind premieres on NBC Sports Philadelphia tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m., covering the Eagles matchup at Pittsburgh on Oct. 11. Encores of Eagles Postgame Live and Birds Outsiders will be presented after Eagles Rewind at 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., respectively, followed by a replay for Eagles Rewind at 10 p.m.

Subsequent editions of Eagles Rewind will debut Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and encore Wednesdays at 6 p.m., but is subject to change based on the NFL schedule. Eagles Rewind will also be presented on Cozi TV on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.

It’s not a bad idea, though wouldn’t you pair Barkann with another analyst, like Seth Joyner or Barrett Brooks or Dave Zangaro? That feels like a lot of work for one person to handle. We’ll have to watch the show tonight to see how it plays out.

I think most people would be interested in watching something like this for an Eagles win, but when the Birds give up 38 points in a road loss, they’ve probably moved on by Wednesday night.
