The Packers will try to avenge a mid-October blowout loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon when the two teams meet this time at Lambeau Field with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. With a high stakes game featuring no shortage of star power, the Bucs-Packers betting action stands to be substantial.

There are plenty of ways to bet on the NFC Championship Game, so let’s jump into some of the ways to win with a deeper look at the best Buccaneers vs. Packers prop bets and picks.

Aaron Rodgers Over 9.5 Rushing Yards (-110, FanDuel Sportsbook)

It’s not that Aaron Rodgers can’t run, it’s just that he usually doesn’t have to run. While Rodgers is unlikely to total significant yards on the ground (his season high rushing total is just 26 yards), he still has the requisite quickness and willingness to exceed this relatively modest total.

Not only did Rodgers eclipse 9.5 rushing yards in five of his final seven regular season starts, he also showed last week against the Rams that he has no reservations about pulling it down and taking off in a tight spot.

In what figures to be a close game between the NFC’s two best teams, one that features a matchup between two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks, Rodgers has an opportunity to cement his legacy as an all-time great with a win over Tom Brady to reach the Super Bowl.

Ultimately, this game feels like it is all about an ultra-motivated Rodgers doing everything possible to win — that includes picking up some key third downs with his legs. The guess here is that with Tampa Bay’s excellent run defense taking away Green Bay’s running backs, Rodgers will use those legs in key spots to eclipse 9.5 yards rushing yards, something he has done in 12 of his 20 career postseason starts.

Aaron Jones Over 3.5 Receptions (+125, DraftKings Sportsbook)

If you’ve been paying attention to the pregame build up ahead of this one, you likely know that Tampa Bay had the NFL’s No. 1 run defense this season. The Bucs yielded just 82.2 rushing yards per game and had the league’s fourth-best defense in terms of allowing fantasy points to opposing running backs.

In fact, the Bucs were the only NFL team to allow less than 1,000 rushing yards to opposing running backs in the regular season. So, yeah, it’s a little strange that we’re circling a running back for an over prop against the Bucs, but hear us out. While Tampa Bay limited overall running back production in terms of fantasy points, no team in the NFL yielded more receptions to opposing backs in the regular season than the 101 allowed by this defense.

After hauling in at least four receptions in six of his first eight games this season, Aaron Jones has eclipsed 3.5 catches just once over his last seven games. Still, we think the Packers will exploit a glaring matchup weakness in this contest and get Jones back over the mark. With plus-value in play, this one is worth a shot.

Tonyan to Have More Rec Yards than Gronkowski (DraftKings, -134)

When it comes to name recognition, Rob Gronkowski certainly has an edge over Robert Tonyan, but we’re giving the edge to Green Bay’s tight end on Sunday.

Tonyan had the slight edge in targets this season (80 to 77) and is coming off of a game in which he hauled in all four of his targets for 60 yards. Meanwhile, Gronkowski has been quiet this postseason, generating just one catch for 14 yards on six targets in two games. Antonio Brown will miss this game for the Bucs, so maybe Gronkowski picks up the slack, but we’re comfortable betting against a player who hasn’t eclipsed 30 yards receiving in five of his last six games.
