Now the teams head to the Prudential Center for two games before they return to Wells Fargo Center on Saturday. The Flyers’ victory has them five points behind the New York Rangers for fifth in the East Division, but with only eight games remaining and no realistic shot of leapfrogging the Rangers and Boston Bruins for a playoff spot, every win Philadelphia earns serves the purpose of negatively affecting their draft position.
