This apparently is not an April Fools joke. And the Mets don’t have the COVID issues, it’s a problem stemming from a positive test in the Nationals’ camp.
It seemed like we were somewhat in the clear, didn’t it? No big problems in the spring, and outside of the Justin Turner controversy, the World Series went as smoothly as one could expect, given the circumstances.
For now, we’re gonna have to wait before we get our first look at the new and improved Mets. Steve Cohen’s Mets. MLB is gonna have to reschedule this bad boy as part of a doubleheader.
