On Monday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder. It’s a clash of two teams trending in different directions in their respective conferences.

Let’s take a closer look at the top Sixers vs. Thunder prop picks and make some predictions for this April 26, 2021 matchup.

Sixers vs. Thunder Player Props (April 26, 2021)

The Philadelphia 76ers will meet the Oklahoma City Thunder for the second time this season and the first time at the Wells Fargo Center. Philadelphia won the first meeting between these teams just over two weeks ago by a final score of 117-93. In that game, MVP candidate Joel Embiid dropped 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, while forward Furkan Korkmaz –filling in for regular starter Tobias Harris– stepped up big time with 20 points of his own.  In fact, Embiid and Korkmaz were two of six Sixers to put up double-digit point totals. The Thunder were led in the first meeting between these teams by Darius Bazley, Tony Bradley, Luguentz Dort, and Ty Jerome, who combined for 60 of OKC’s 93 points on the night.

The injury report for Monday night’s matchup is one of the longest lists you’ll see this season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who has played in just 35 games this season, is out with plantar fasciitis. Joining him on OKC’s “out” list are Luguentz Dort, Josh Hall, Mike Muscala, and Gabriel Deck. The Sixers have a number of players on the fence with Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Danny Green, Furkan Korkmaz, and Paul Reed all listed as questionable.

Darius Bazley to Score Over 17.5 Points (-110, BetMGM)

Given the lengthy list of players out of the Oklahoma City Thunder lineup for Monday night’s contest, someone will have to shoulder the scoring load. OKC’s leading scorer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is out with plantar fasciitis, their second-leading scorer Al Horford has been effectively banished by the organization, and Luguentz Dort, whose 14 points per game are the third-most for the team, is also listed as out.

Darius Bazley has racked up at least 18 points in each of his last three games and in five of his last six games overall. Given his uptick in field goal attempts has led to a jump from 11 points per game in March to 19.1 points per game in April. Sixers forward Tobias Harris, wing defender Ben Simmons and center Joel Embiid are questionable in this one. This game should represent a volume-based hit, with Bazley putting up at least 18 points by virtue of being the best scoring option on a depleted squad.

Theo Maledon Under 18.5 Combined Points and Rebounds (-122, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Theo Maledon has been thrust into a primary playmaking role with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the shelf for the Thunder and has done an admirable job for a 19-year-old. In his most recent game against the Washington Wizards, Maledon put up 20 points and pulled down two rebounds. However, he’s only crossed the 18.5 combined points and rebounds threshold in two of his last nine games.

When the Thunder and Sixers last met on April 10 in Oklahoma City, Maledon scored eight points on just 3-11 shooting from the field (27.3%) to go with eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds marked the highest total he’s had dating back to March 27. Although Philadelphia has a number players listed as questionable, it’s hard to envision Maledon overcoming his woeful 36.6% FG% in the month of April to put the Under 18.5 Combined Points and Rebounds market in jeopardy.

Tobias Harris to Record 1+ Dunk and Sixers to Win (+100, FOX Bet)

The folks at FOX Bet are running an interesting Double Your Money Bet Boost featuring forward Tobias Harris making a dunk and the Philadelphia 76ers winning their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night. As things stand, the Sixers are a heavy favorite with FOX Bet listing them as -1100 moneyline favorites.

This boost comes down to Harris’ playing status for tonight’s contest, which remains to be seen as tip-off approaches. He was listed as questionable on Sunday night’s NBA injury report, though that’s subject to change. If he plays, it stands to reason he’ll shoulder a large portion of the scoring load and will have ball handling opportunities and lanes to slash to the rim if point guard Ben Simmons’ status changes from questionable to out. Harris is also an excellent finisher on fast-break opportunities, increasing the likelihood of him getting to the rim for a jam.

Note: A maximum bet of $300 would pay out $600 if this market hits.
