We knew this was going to happen, right?

Richard Rodgers returning to the Eagles was -850 at the Crossing Broad Sports Book, and it cashed on Friday:

“Dick Rod” jokes aside, Rodgers was pretty good for the Birds in 2020 as the third-string tight end. He caught 24 of his 31 targets for 345 yards and two touchdowns. 16 of those catches went for first downs and he caught a 33-yarder in the Seattle game.

It’s a move that makes sense. He’s still in his twenties (29) and doesn’t make a ton of money. If Zach Ertz is indeed moved, you can do worse than a Dallas Goedert/Richard Rodgers pairing at tight end during a transitional season.
