On Friday night, the Atlanta Hawks will play host to the Philadelphia 76ers for Game 3 of. their Eastern Conference Semifinals series.
Let’s take a closer look at the top Sixers vs. Hawks Game 3 player prop picks and make some predictions for this June 11, 2021 NBA Playoffs matchup.
Sixers vs. Hawks Game 3 Player Props (June 11, 2021)
The Atlanta Hawks will take to their home court at Philips Arena hoping to erase a 118-102 Game 2 loss in Philadelphia from their minds. It was a disappointing performance from the upstart Hawks, who initially stunned the Eastern Conference’s top seed by virtue of a 128-124 victory in Game 1. Given the talent disparity in this series, a loss could be devastating to the underdog Hawks’ hopes of winning this series.

Game 2 saw Atlanta’s dynamic point guard Trae Young shoot 6-16 from the field and just 1-7 from behind the arc en route to a 21-point, 11-assist performance. His usual backcourt running mate Bogdan Bogdanovic had a similar 6-16 shooting night from the field, totaling just 14 points. Danilo Gallinari was a spark plug off the bench, hitting five of nine three-point field goal attempts, tying Young for the team lead with 21 points.
The Sixers rebounded marvelously in Game 2, led by MVP finalist Joel Embiid. The franchise center racked up 40 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, despite feeling the effects of a torn meniscus. Tobias Harris (22), Seth Curry (21), and Shake Milton (14) all joined Embiid in double figures.
Will the Hawks flip home court advantage back into their favor or will the top seed take a 2-1 series lead?
Joel Embiid to Record Over 43.5 Combined Points and Rebounds (-110, BetMGM)
The moment that Nuggets center Nikola Jokić was named as the NBA’s Most Valuable Player, the running joke online became to pray for Clint Capela and the Hawks. MVP finalist Joel Embiid played like a man possessed in Game 2, dropping a postseason-highs with 40 points and 13 rebounds.
Embiid has been an absolute stud for Philadelphia throughout his team’s run as the Eastern Conference’s #1 seed. Removing Game 4 of his first round series against the Wizards in which he injured his knee and was diagnosed with a tear in his meniscus, Embiid has put up at least 44 combined points and rebounds in three straight postseason contests.
Embiid is the best player in this series and the Hawks have not yet found the right combination of defenders to mitigate the damage Embiid can do on the interior. Expect him to play a massive role for Philadelphia as they look to take a 2-1 series lead.

Bogdan Bogdanović to Make Over 3.5 Three-Point Field Goals (+112, DraftKings Sportsbook)
For as much pressure as Trae Young will be under to have one of his best games of the season, Bogdan Bogdanović will need to step up his efficiency in Game 3. Bogdanović shot just 2-6 from downtown in Game 2, his second-lowest total of made three-pointers this postseason.
Bogdanović put together an excellent showing from beyond the arc in Atlanta’s Game 1 victory, shooting 5-12 from distance. In his first round series against the Knicks, Bogdanović made at least 3 three-point field goals three times and at least 4 shots from beyond the arc twice.
On a positive note for the Hawks, Bogdanović was a better scorer at home in the regular season, averaging 17.5 points per game as opposed to just 15.2 points per game on the road. More importantly for this market, he shot 46.6% from deep at home versus 40.9% at home. If Atlanta is to have any shot of winning this contest, they’ll need Bogdanović to find his shooting stroke to provide much-needed floor spacing.

Tobias Harris to Record Over 26.5 Combined Points and Rebounds (-158, FanDuel Sportsbook)
Tobias Harris’ consistent play this postseason has been critical to their success and his ascension to becoming Philadelphia’s #2 scoring option has changed the tune of many pundits who believed he’d never amount to massive contract he signed a season ago.
Harris has posted at least 20 points in each of his last five postseason games and in six of seven overall. He’s averaging 21 points per game through two matchups against Hawks in this series to go with 8 rebounds per game.
As for taking Harris to record over 26.5 combined points and rebounds, keep in mind he’s done it in every single one of his seven playoff contests.
