Carson Wentz is Already "Out Indefinitely" Due to Injury
Three days.
Carson Wentz made it three days into Colts training camp before injuring himself:
Colts' QB Carson Wentz is out indefinitely as he undergoes further testing on a foot injury that he suffered at the end of Thursday's practice, per @MikeWellsNFL and me.
Colts' second-year QB Jacob Eason took the starter reps at today's practice, with Sam Ellinger as his backup.

“Why do we give a shit? He’s not HERE NO MORE.”
That’s what angry Facebook users will say, but the Birds need Carson to play 75% of the snaps this season, or 70% with a playoff appearance, in order for that conditional first round draft pick to trigger. If that threshold is not met, the Eagles end up with a second-rounder instead, which makes it harder for them to package and move up next year if they want to go for a QB or trade for a QB. Or, if Jalen Hurts has a good year, and becomes the QB1, then you’re finding better talent at the bottom of the first vs. the bottom of the second. Duh.
Isn’t this just swell? Go fucking figure. Carson is injured already. Even though he’s gone he continues to slap us right across the face.
