Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Michael Rubin spent his weekend hanging out with Bob Kraft, Meek Mill, and Jay-Z. I think he’s spent every weekend over the past two years with this group.

“Not that there’s anything wrong with that,” as Jerry Seinfeld once said. It’s just a totally random grouping, isn’t it? Bob Kraft is 80 years old and has become a father-figure of sorts to the Sixers’ co-owner. And then you loop in Meek via the prison reform initiative of a few years ago, and it’s like two random rich white guys hanging out with some of the most popular rappers and athletes on the planet.

This past weekend’s destination was the Hamptons, and Rubin posted some pics on Instagram:

Now that looks like a group. James Harden, Jay-Z, Yo Gotti, Jon Bon Jovi, Megan Thee Stallion, and Tinashe were all there. Lil’ Uzi Vert, too. He’s a Philadelphia rapper but he stinks. He stuff is “ass,” as the kids like to say. Ronald Darby once proclaimed that Uzi was “the next Michael Jackson” and Brandon Brooks had to call him out publicly for how ridiculous that take was. Just absurd.

But anyway, good for these guys. They’re having a lot of fun out there. They’re buying Bentleys for each other and hanging out and chillin’. Just enjoying life.
