RE: Johnson, he was battling a knee injury, hence the move. It seemed as though he was going to be in the Birds’ plans this year, prior to the injury, and has seen his career derailed by these issues. He was a second round pick just a few years ago.
This means the Birds will go with a running back group of Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, Jordan Howard, and Kenneth Gainwell, with Jason Huntley seemingly on the bubble.
As for the other guys, Tucker has been signed by the Eagles multiple times and it feels like they waive him ever summer. Juriga was the UDFA from last season who started on the practice squad. He spotted Jason Kelce in a 2020 game but this summer the Birds have had Nate Herbig snapping with the second unit.
