It’s a bummer because Hoskins has been raking as of late. Five hits and five RBIs in the four-game Washington sweep. He knocked in 19 runs in July and logged a 1.163 OPS and .310 average.

Big series for the Phillies against the Mets this weekend. Huge. Probably the most significant series since… God, I don’t know when. Biggest series in a long ass time.
