Looks Like Rodney McLeod is OUT for Week 1
From today’s Eagles media sessions:
Darius Slay on Rodney McLeod: “I wish he was out here for Week 1.”
Sounds like Slay spilled the beans on the #Eagles safety’s availability for Sun. vs. the Falcons.

McLeod was recently activated to the 53-man roster. He’s coming off the torn ACL and had offseason surgery, which caused him to miss the entirety of training camp. When he’s ready, he’ll slot in at free safety next to Anthony Harris, but this weekend it’ll be Marcus Epps and K’Von Wallace getting the call instead.
The good news is that the Eagles are pretty clean outside of McLeod’s injury. Ryan Kerrigan had the thumb surgery, and Davion Taylor has been dealing with a calf issue. There were a couple of minor groin injuries to manage, but otherwise they are pretty good. The Birds are in a much better position injury-wise going into this season. Last year was a nightmare. It was gross.
