Little parking lot news for anyone planning to park at the Wells Fargo Center this weekend. Be prepared.

Starting this Saturday with the Temple Owls matchup against Boston College at noon, the Wells Fargo Center will no longer accept cash to park in any of their lots. This includes all future Temple Owls and Eagles games.

According to a press release, the Center will only accept major credit cards and digital payments, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, to park.

Here’s the release in full:

“Starting this weekend on Saturday and Sunday, Wells Fargo Center’s parking lots will not accept cash for Temple University or Eagles football games. Wells Fargo Center parking lots will accept all major credit cards and digital payment including Apple Pay and Google Pay.”

It’s unknown at this point if this will include parking for the Flyers or the 76ers.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programing.
