Behold, the worst take of the 2021 calendar year:

“It’s just cheese and noodles”

Yeah that’s THE WHOLE POINT. It’s comfort food. It’s cheesy and creamy goodness, and it belongs on the Thanksgiving table.

Why?

Because it’s the one thing everybody should universally agree on. You’ll find different viewpoints on turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and the sweet potato + marshmallow combination (redundant), but macaroni and cheese is sort of that “centering” food, for a lack of a better word. It’s a crowd pleasing staple. Can’t go wrong with it. Suburbanites go out and get the red Stouffer’s box and throw it in the oven. Damn I’m hungry now.

Congrats to Matthew Judon for being the only person on the planet to dislike macaroni and cheese. Figures you’d get this kind of take from a New England Patriot. You sign for Bill Belichick and then morph into a stodgy grump.
