Cynch propane delivery

Once your tank has been delivered, you’ll need to prepare your yard for turkey frying. It’s critical to do this as safely as possible, which means you’ll need to have the following:

  • A turkey that’s been thawed out and patted dry to reduce splash-back.
  • A large pot to fry your turkey, which will allow for liquid displacement.
  • A propane-fueled burner large enough for the turkey pot to sit on.
  • A propane tank delivered by Cynch for each turkey you plan on frying. If you’ll want to do a test fry and one on Thanksgiving Day, you’ll need two tanks.
  • A long-stemmed thermometer, which will reduce the chance of you coming in contact with hot oil.
  • An appropriate cooking oil, such as safflower or peanut oil.
  • A fire extinguisher.
  • A large outdoor space with appropriate distance from your home, deck, patio, awning, garage, trees and bushes.
  • Tarps or cardboard to cover a minimum 8-foot radius, which will will protect the ground or patio’s concrete from absorbing or being stained by the oil.

Keep in mind that the splatter zone for turkey frying usually extends to a 5-foot radius, so expanding the radius by three feet or so should reduce any chance of splatter, stains, or damage to the ground or patio underneath.
