Seranthony Dominguez is Back for More
Not Castellanos or Schwarber or the move Phillies fans are looking for, but:
The Phillies avoid arbitration with Seranthony Dominguez by signing him to a one-year, $725K deal, source tells @TheAthletic.

Confirmed a short time later by the Phillies.
Dominguez had the Tommy John surgery in the summer of 2020, which was delayed because of COVID and blah blah. The recovery took a long time and he wasn’t activated until September of this year, then he proceeded to throw a grand total of one Major League inning. It’s been a saga to get him healthy and back on track, and this season was more or less a prolonged minor league rehab stint.
But he’s super cheap and the Phils always need bullpen arms, so you roll the dice and see what happens.
