Doug Pederson to Interview for Jaguars Job

NFL news:
The #Jaguars' interview with former #Eagles coach Doug Pederson is scheduled to happen this week, per source.
So along with requests for #Bucs OC Byron Leftwich and DC Todd Bowles and #Cowboys OC Kellen Moore, Jacksonville's search for Urban Meyer's successor is off and running.

Doug would be a good choice for the job. After Urban Meyer’s pitiful display of ineptitude, that locker room could use a veteran guy who has a reputation for being good with players and treating them like adults. Doug definitely won’t kick his kicker, as Meyer was ALLEGED to have done.
Beyond that, they’ve got a young franchise QB who needs some direction. They’re in line to pick 1st again, and Doug won’t have a bloodthirsty crowd of major market fans up his butt to win right away. He’ll be able to steady the ship, get that franchise on the right track, and then start delivering.
Hopefully it happens. Would be nice to see Doug coaching in the NFL again.
