Fake Tough Guy Joe Judge Goes on Goofy Rant About Players "Begging" to Return to the 4-12 Giants
As you know, Joe Judge does the fake tough guy routine. He is a “leader of men” and a “football guy” and all of that. He is a Lansdale Catholic alum who has dropped some super-corny quotes, like when he went on a rant about the Eagles tanking the final week of the 2020 season and denying his shitty 6-10 squad a playoff berth.
After getting their doors blown off by the 5-10 Chicago Bears on Sunday, Judge embarked on a meandering 10-minute postgame rant in which he basically said that the culture is great up there, and that players wanna be Giants:
Here's the video: A fiery Joe Judge says there are players who left the team last year who tell him they wish they were still with the Giants, and there are players currently on the team who are set to be free agents who beg that they want to stay.pic.twitter.com/YpxXQOGLl6

We’ll give Judge credit for the honesty, assuming this isn’t a “don’t fire me” acting job. There are vibes of Jim Fassel here, like the tone in which it’s delivered reminds me of the “this team is going to the playoffs” rant. Maybe the vibe behind the scenes is fine, but are we really expected to believe that free agents are going into his office and begging to return to the Giants? Are we supposed to believe that former Giants want to be current Giants? Sounds a little far-fetched to me!
Consider this:
There are, by my count, 34 players who were on the active roster for the Giants last year who are no longer part of the organization this year. Anyone who isn't part of this group would likely be making the minimum elsewhere. pic.twitter.com/9EGkpbsK6b

I call bullshit on this. Joe Judge is a disgrace to the great borough of Lansdale! He should send in his application for the Central Bucks South job. A Harry High School gig.
