I love it. Cornerbacks are the most ignorant dudes in NFL. How can you blame them? Today’s rules make it almost impossible to play the position. If you’re not one of the elite you’re constantly picked on 20+ times a game. You have to chase around the fastest humans in sport that can snatch your ankles at a moment’s notice while your family and millions more watch any given Sunday. You have to be insane to want to play that position. That’s why I don’t care if Jalen Mills wanted to finger wag every time the ball sailed into the 10th row of the Linc. Every incompletion was a win. Every completion meant short memory. I’ve always said the best cornerback ever would be one who has Alzheimers.

You can’t teach this type of confidence with just 76 snaps under your belt. When Terry McLaurin lines up across from Tay Gowan this season he better bring a blanket and sun tan lotion, cause he’s never gonna get off that beach.
