Jeff Passan is ESPN’s Major League Baseball insider.

Today, as labor negotiations continue, his Twitter account was hacked and the perpetrators had him retweet a bunch of “SKULLTOONS” NFT stuff. Absolute comedy.

Get a load of this:

Gotta admit, I did laugh at “Jeff.eth.” I chortled when I saw that. Very creative.

Poor guy, though, Passan. He’s trying to get the lock out scoop, and do some real reporting and news breaking. He’s trying to be the first to say that baseball is back, and then he looks at his phone and it’s a bunch of NFT spammers doing their spamming. He has ironically been… locked out!

I would say MLB owners put the hackers up to this, but does any MLB owner actually know what a NFT is? They all probably still have landlines at home. They probably don’t even know what Twitter is. They are too busy on the golf course to know what real life is like.
