Somebody is Fibbing with this Washington Commanders Radio Story

Goofy news out of Washington today.
The Audacy stations that carry Commanders games will no longer do so after announcing they were OUT on the team. Kevin Sheehan, who does the morning show on one of those stations, said in part that the team and company “disagreed” on the value of the broadcast, and suggested that he and others need to be able to call out Daniel Snyder’s shit show for what it is:
Huge news out of DC. @Audacy stations @1067theFan and @team980 and @910TheFan in Richmond, VA are dropping the @Commanders. https://t.co/Fw9TQQQyud pic.twitter.com/avF67dPIkX

The Commanders rebuffed this and said that they have selected a new radio partner, basically calling bullshit on the Audacy talking points and saying that somebody else made a better offer:
Here is the @Commanders statement on their radio broadcast partner.
The team says they have selected a new radio partner and notified Audacy last week that they would not be moving forward with them. pic.twitter.com/jF99Lk2HFu

For some context here, this would be like the Eagles no longer appearing on WIP (which is Audacy owned). Could you imagine Angelo coming out and saying “hey guess what, Birds games are not gonna be on 94.1 anymore“? It would be insane. They’ve had a long and successful partnership together, same thing as the Washington situation.
So somebody here is lying. The Audacy folks are suggesting that Dan Snyder’s operation is fugazi, and they’re sick of tip-toeing around it. But the Commies say THEY were the ones who decided to split, pushing back on the idea that Audacy DROPPED the team.
Who is telling the truth? No clue, but it’s funny to view from up here. That organ-eye-zation is a disaster.
