Report: Ben Simmons "Targeting Games Four, Five, or Six" for Nets Debut
That’s enough on Mets fans for now. Let’s get it back to Ben Simmons updates:
Brian Windhorst says the hope is for Ben Simmons to ramp up to playing 5 on 5 by the end of the week.

Uh.. yeah. Okay. The Nets are likely going to be in a dog fight with the Celtics, and Ben Simmons is just gonna swoop in and make his season debut in game four, or five, or six? Just roll him out there. It will be a seamless transition!
That’s the super weird part in all of this. Simmons isn’t a guy you just throw onto the court. He’s not going to stand in the corner and take catch-and-shoot threes. He’s not gonna run as a small ball five… or is he? You need a plan for a guy like Simmons, because he doesn’t shoot. I guess if they brought him off the bench with a four-shooter lineup, he could just play defense and pass the ball, because anything beyond that seems like a difficult adjustment, mid-series. It’s hard enough working a guy like Ben into the system, let alone trying to do it in the playoffs.
