The ‘A’ in Stephen A must stand for absolutely delusional:

Only Stephen A would take a question about James Harden’s play and turn it into a full blown conspiracy theory. Harden throwing the series so the Sixers hire Mike D’Antoni would be like the NBA instituting a shadow GM to run a team because the current GM is making a mockery of the league’s lottery draft policies. Honestly, if this turns out to be true, would it even crack the top 10 strangest things to happen to the Sixers during The Process? Probably not. We had a lottery pick almost taken out by a nut allergy and the guy he was traded for became an All-NBA defensive iron man. This wouldn’t even scratch the surface.

Can you imagine the Sixers becoming the first team to blow a 3-0 lead and the prize at the end of the rainbow is D’Antoni? I might just quit the Sixers forever. I have no problem with D’Antoni, but this feels like hiring Doc Rivers all over again. I loved the Seven Second Suns. That was almost two decades ago. I know Harden had his MVP year under D’Antoni, but that Harden looks to be long gone. I don’t know what the answer is, but it doesn’t feel like D’Antoni pushes this team over the edge.
