Another reported Eagles free agent target signed with another team. I’m sure Eagles fans will be happy to know the Birds made a ‘hard play,’ according to Josina Anderson:

The Philadelphia Eagles: 2022 Free Agency Hard Play Champs! Hang the banner! –

The Eagles have now reportedly made hard plays for Marcus Williams, Allen Robinson, Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, and Deshaun Watson. They’ve come up short in all of them and Tyrann Mathieu will probably be added to the list shortly. A lot of holes to fill and all they have to show for it is Anthony Harris, Kyzir White, and Zach Pascal. There are rumors the Eagles might trade up for Sauce Gardner or hope Derek Stingley falls. Plenty of mocks have Michigan safety Daxton Hill going to the Eagles. Drake London and Treylon Burks are both wide receivers that could be there when the Eagles draft. But why do I have this awful feeling Howie has his eyes set on defensive line? Smartest guy in the room type of move even though I’m a Best Player Available over Need kind of guy. I’m also more of a Howie Roseman defender than most, but even I’m not crazy enough to think he can build this team to be a contender in one draft.

The other thing – why are the Eagles not considered a free agency destination? Probably because there is so much mystery about this team. Is the QB good? Is the coach good? Was last year a fluke? Just using Stephon Gilmore as an example here, but if you look at the Colts and Eagles on paper and you’re signing potentially the last big deal of your career and a shot at a ring which would you choose? Indy easily.
