So this blew up over the weekend.

DeSean Jackson was on the “I am athlete.” podcast with Brandon Marshall and LeSean McCoy, where he mentioned that Donovan McNabb told Mike Vick that (Jackson) didn’t deserve to be the first ever to make the Pro Bowl at two positions. He also explained how McNabb charged him $25 to attend his all-white party:

Let’s get the $25 ticket fee part of this out of the way. The all white parties McNabb would throw benefitted his DM5 Foundation and other charities so the money was most likely going to that. Here’s an Inquirer article on the party in 2009 where tickets cost $75 and another article on his 2010 party that only cost $50. So in this case DeSean seemed like he was actually getting a steal. But even with that discount DeSean wasn’t paying for no fucking bottles for Hank Baskett. You want bottles Hank Baskett, you use your Playboy model wife’s credit card.

This is now the third former Eagles wide receiver who has spoken out against McNabb. Terrell Owens and Donovan have traded shots over the years and Freddie Mitchell learned from a Delilah’s stripper that McNabb hated him. Is any of this shocking? You get 53 alpha males in one room it’s rare everyone is going to like each other, but the fact McNabb hated half the guys he had to throw to during his career is wild. No star QB wants the spotlight stolen from him, but could you maybe direct that hate towards Todd Pinkston and James Thrash and not the two best wide receivers you ever played with.

Now, it can’t be easy playing in a city where everything from your leadership to your toughness was questioned for 11 years straight and you were boo’d the second you became an Eagle. We’re going to have to go to the court of public opinion and it’ll come down to if you liked McNabb or not. I did. I can deal with him being a diva because he gave me the best decade of my young Eagles fan life.
