Back in June, we revealed a nugget. 94 WIP was planning to bring in “a woman from the outside, perhaps to join the new morning show.”

Said “woman” is Devan Kaney:

Nice gig for Devan, who is part of the JAKIB Media Eagles postgame show as well. It won’t be the morning show on WIP, however, so my theorizing was incorrect. She noted on Twitter that it will be “mostly weekends / fill in – I’ll post whenever in about to be on!!” Regardless, landing any kind of work with WIP is a big boost and provides a nice platform. I believe this makes her the third on-air woman at WIP in addition to Rhea Hughes and Ava Graham.

We’re still waiting for the big story on Action News, which is Angelo Cataldi’s replacement. Mike Golic Jr. and Sr. both shot down rumors that they were in play for the gig, and we personally believe Joe DeCamara is the frontrunner right now. Rhea will be staying. No clue about Morganti or Jonesy yet. I will continue to “effort” that information.
