We Finally Found Out Why Ronnie Brown Threw That Ball
We had Clay Harbor on Crossing Broadcast Thursday to talk about the Dream Team days and I had to ask him about the Ronnie Brown throw:
It was a designed pass. Of course it was a designed pass. It makes so much more sense now. The fact Clay was the one who was supposed to get the ball is just dumb luck we had him on. He actually tweeted this play earlier in the day breaking it all down:
I feel like it’s finally time that Eagles fans know the truth of this play. This was a designed pass. Ronnie Brown takes the handoff then pop pass. Nobody blocked. Myself included. He shouldn’t have thrown it but honestly not his fault. #Eagles #ThrowbackThursday pic.twitter.com/BFrsmezL8V

That play could’ve been one of the few highlights from a shitty 8-8 season, but instead it’s the memory I’ll have of forever of Ronnie Brown on the Eagles.
