Bryce Harper Sends Signed Bat to Phillies Fan Who Broke His Thumb
Bryce Harper is an MVP on and off the field:
BRYCE HARPER JUST GETS IT!
On June 25th, the SAME day Harper broke his thumb after being hit by a pitch, 9-yr-old Sam D'Lauro was ALSO hit by a pitch, suffering the SAME INJURY. His teammates wrote a letter to Harper and today Sam got a personalized autographed bat in the mail! pic.twitter.com/cZfDgbdVEv— Jamie Apody (@JamieApody) August 30, 2022
I know Bryce is going to get most of the pub here, but those are some good friends. Foxhole guys. Very rare to find guys you’re going to be boys with for the rest of your life at nine years old.
Bryce has been like god damn Mother Theresa this week. Between this and feeding the needy, he might be inducted into sainthood by the end of his career:
How extensive was it? Harper bought 14-ounce ribeyes, garlic mashed potatoes, veggies, mac and cheese, Caesar salads, bread with cinnamon butter and Reese's/Snickers pies for everyone on both teams. Good stuff.
