Forearm Fracture is a Bummer for Andre Dillard
Shout out once again to the LET’S GO TO THE PHONES boys, who have been on fire recently:
Our Eagles source has informed us that Andre Dillard may have hurt his forearm or arm, possibly badly, in practice today. No other details.

#Eagles T Andre Dillard suffered a nondisplaced fracture in his forearm in practice today, sources say. Further testing is needed to determine the best course of action and timeline for a return but the expectation is Dillard will be available for a majority of the season.

Seemed like Dillard had turned a corner this year. He spent the offseason in the gym, had a good camp according to the beats, and while he wasn’t going to displace Jordan Mailata as the starting left tackle, provided a great backup option on either side of the line.
Looking at the depth chart now, you’d think Le’Raven Clark is the next guy up at the left tackle spot. Quoth Le’Raven, nevermore. He’s on the practice squad but likely to be the guy who is elevated, then there’s Jack Driscoll available to back up Lane Johnson on the right, along with interior guys Sua Opeta and UDFA Josh Sills, who I guess could move outside in an emergency.
No updates yet, but hopefully it’s not a season-ending thing. Doesn’t sound like it will be, but you never know.
